2. What Data We Collect

Account data

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the name you provide during onboarding.

Health and wellness data

The app lets you log and track: food and nutrition, workouts and activity, sleep, menstrual cycle, water intake, mood, weight and body measurements, and daily habits. This data is entered by you and stored on your device and in your private account.

Apple Health / Google Health Connect

With your permission, the app reads activity and workout data from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). We do not share this data with third parties.

Community content

If you join or create a Circle, your posts, comments, and display name are visible to other members of that Circle.

Device and usage data

We collect basic technical information to operate the app, including your device type and app version. We do not sell this data.

Push notification tokens

If you allow notifications, we store a device token to deliver reminders and alerts. You can turn these off in your device settings at any time.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalise your experience in the app
• To sync your data across your devices
• To send you push notifications you have opted into
• To process subscription payments (handled by Apple App Store or Google Play)
• To calculate wellness insights shown within the app (calorie targets, cycle predictions, etc.)

We do not use your health data for advertising. We do not sell your data to anyone.

4. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure database provided by Supabase, hosted on cloud infrastructure in the EU/US. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment card details. Subscription management, refunds, and cancellations are handled through your device's native store settings.

6. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. We use the following trusted service providers to operate the app:

• Supabase - secure data storage and authentication
• RevenueCat - subscription management (does not receive health data)
• Apple / Google - push notifications and in-app purchases

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Delete your account and all associated data (use the "Delete Account" option in app settings)
• Export your data on request
• Withdraw consent for health data access at any time via your device settings

8. Children

That Girl HQ is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes within the app. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
